2009-10-26@17:21 / An addition to the family.

The "baby on the way" announced earlier is now a "baby in the crib" as four weeks ago our family was graced by the arrival of little Robert (3980 g / 8.77 lbs at birth).

2009-09-18@23:16 / Cantucci

Introducing the Cantucci Mandelbrot and Julia Fractal Generator. This application was meant as a full screen, walk up and play type, fractal explorer for wall mounted flatscreens. Not sure how it works with touch screens (although I see no reason why it shouln't).

I started writing it some 5 years ago and picked up development again just a month or so ago. Better late than never.

2009-08-19@00:46 / Errata

It seems some old news posts messed up my perfect validation record. Everything but the news page should validate though. Will have to do some database cleanup in the morning.

[Update 2008-08-19:]
The abovementioned validation errors should now have been fixed.

2009-08-19@00:28 / New site design.

The new design has been completed. Its is basically an all new rendition of the same core. Markup is all XHTML 1.0 Strict (it should all validate but please do report any errors) and the layout is purely CSS based (the old design was based on nested tables). The goal has been to keep the site design as reserved as possible while at the same time aim for some aesthetic effect.

2009-08-15@18:50 / Site design overhaul & future releases.

I am currently working on a major overhaul of the design of this site. In the meantime the site has been hastily touched up and the content of various pages have been updated where it was out of date.

Updates have been scarce for some time while I have been busy with work and a growing family. I'm happily married, have a 3 year old son, and a second on the way :)

I have several interesting software projects under development (and some that are basically done). The goal for the future is to release beta versions early. By doing this I hope to get feedback on which projects have merit and which do not (and what changes might be necessary for the former). I have previously been very pedantic when it comes to publishing my work and this has led to quite a lot of potentially worthwhile projects being abandoned for lack of time.
